Anatomy is the study of the structure of the human body. Most students study Anatomy with the goal of becoming an allied health professional, such as a paramedic, nurse, or dental hygienist. Students at SRJC have outstanding resources for the study of Anatomy, including numerous models and organ prosections. Students in the more advanced Anatomy course dissect human cadavers as part of their laboratory experience. Each course number is linked to its specific description. Note that ANAT 40 and 140 are combined anatomy and physiology courses.
